Advice: Dealing With Dumb Boys
Dear Kayla,
I need some advice. There are these 3 8th grade boys in one of my classes that wont stop making fun of me! I'm to shy to tell them to stop, so I don't. I just don't smile at all to them instead. But now they try to imitate me by having this signiture face they flash at each other that's supposed to be me. They make this evil face like their immitating me. Then they all laugh! I feel pretty hurt especially since today was the first day the did it. what should I do?

Dear Hurt Badly,
Boys can be so annoying - I would know, I have four little brothers. Boys will do anything to get attention. They will act up and tease people just so that someone will look at them and recognize them. Why do these boys want your attention? Chances are, they might like you, think you’re pretty. Or they’re just really obnoxious. I have some ideas for you to get these boys to stop:
1. Ignore them. Yep, it’s hard. But if you pretend like they don’t even exist, then you are defeating the whole purpose of them teasing you. They just want your attention, and by ignoring them the attention you give them will end. So, if they tease you, pretend like you can’t hear them or see them. Never look at them. Hopefully this will help.
2. Tell them how you feel. Be serious and straight forward and tell them. Tell them that what they are doing is hurting your feelings. They might laugh it off in front of eachother, but when they get home that night, they will see how brave you were to tell them and back off a bit. Because the truth is, in each of the boys that is hurting you, there is a good person. Telling them exactly how you feel might bring out that good person.
2. If the teasing gets really serious, the previous methods don’t work, ignoring them and telling them doesn’t work, tell a teacher at school. It might be hard for you to do, but it will be worth it. Your teacher can move you to a seat far away from them so they can’t bother you.
These boys will not stop teasing you immediately, but if you just let it go and don’t let it affect you, they will stop. Don’t be afraid to feel hurt when they tease you, remember what these boys say to you doesn’t matter. They’re just stupid boys, right? What do they know? They just want your attention, don’t give it to them.

Free Desktops/Backgrounds for your Computer!
I am going to start offering/creating desktop images. You know-the image that you see when you first turn on your computer. So here are the ones I have made so far. And if you scroll to the bottom I'll show you how to make it your desktop background. : )

To Add This As Your Desktop Background:
1. Click on the Image.
2. Then, right click on the image.
3. Then click "Set As Background" or "Set As Desktop".
4. To see it in action, minimize all your programs and then you'll see it!
5. Leave a comment telling me how much you love it!

First Advice Post!!
Hey all my wonderful readers!! I am so sorry that I haven't posted in so long! I have been busy with summer vacations, and I am also taking classes online, so it's just been stressfull!
Well anyway, I received this comment:
Dear Kayla - author of Teeny Boppers, I was sufing the web looking at some cool blogs, and found yours as a link on one of them. I have noticed the poll that was taken and decided to take part of it. Here is what I need advice with. . .Shyness! I can't go and talk to the person checking me out in Clairs at the mall with my friends. Even when it is a new school year and I know almost everyone, I can't help but be the most set apart person in the room. I need help!!!signed, Shyly bo byely

You are not alone! Being shy is something that everybody has experienced. Some, more than others, but everyone has been shy before. Most people are shy because they are scared of what people will think of them if they are talkative. So, go for it! Go talk to him! Would you think he was weird if he was coming up to you? Maybe a little, but most likely you would be happy! So, go talk to him, be yourself and don't worry about ANYTHING! If you have a problem with blushing (like me) think of icecubes, freezing cold icecubes running down your back and then think of Antarctica. Usually it will help.
